Car Service to St. Catharines

In St. Catharines, lake freighters pass under the Garden City Skyway on their way through the Welland Canal. To the south, vineyards rise toward the escarpment. On the shore to the north, Port Dalhousie has a beach and a harbour where you can spend a whole day by the lake.

From Toronto, you spend most of the way here on the QEW. When you book our car service to St. Catharines, our chauffeurs take that stretch for you, so you arrive rested rather than tired from the drive.

Bennington Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation

Pearson or Hamilton: Two Ways In

Your route into St. Catharines changes with the airport you fly into:

  • From Pearson International Airport (YYZ), we head along the 427 and the QEW for about 106 km, crossing the Burlington Skyway at the lake’s western tip. Expect an airport run from there to take about 70 minutes.
  • If you choose John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM), the distance drops to about 68 km. Your chauffeur follows the Lincoln Alexander and Red Hill Valley parkways, which meet the QEW east of that bridge. You skip it entirely and reach St. Catharines in about 50 minutes.

At either terminal, your chauffeur helps with your luggage. The first stop is whatever address you give us, from a hotel downtown to a tasting room near the escarpment.

Wine Country Inside St. Catharines

You do not have to leave the city limits to visit a vineyard. On Pelham Road, Henry of Pelham stands on land the Smith family received in 1794, and its walk-in tastings need no reservation.

At 13th Street Winery, you can walk among the sculptures with a glass in hand. We suggest it as the last stop, so the butter tarts from its bakery reach home fresh. Out on Ninth Street, Rockway Vineyards combines a winery with a golf course. Golfers in your group can play a round there while the rest of you head to the tasting bar.

A bachelorette party or a group of friends can see all three estates in one afternoon on a wine tour. With our chauffeur at the wheel, every one of you can sample what each estate pours.

Hockey Arenas and the Henley Rowing Course

Downtown, the Meridian Centre is the home arena of the Niagara IceDogs, who play in the OHL. In the summer, the Niagara River Lions play CEBL basketball there. For a weeknight hockey or basketball game, we bring you down from Toronto and take you home after the final buzzer.

A few minutes west, the Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre runs four rinks under one roof at 240 St. Paul Street West. For teams playing at Seymour-Hannah, we can arrange hotel pickups around the tournament schedule and plan return trips between games. If a match runs late, contact our team to discuss adjusting the next pickup.

Each August, crews race the 2,200-metre course on Martindale Pond at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta, which first came to St. Catharines in 1903. The same water hosted the World Rowing Championships in 1970, 1999, and 2024.

If your son or daughter rows in the regatta, missing their race while you wait for a shuttle is a real worry. Athletes check in on Henley Island, the grandstand is on Main Street, and the regatta’s shuttle between them runs only at set hours. Outside those hours, we drive your family between the island and the grandstand, so you can watch the start and still reach your rower afterward.

Our Fleet for Other Days in St. Catharines

Tastings and tournaments are not the only reasons to come here, so we have paired a vehicle with three other occasions:

  • With tickets for Partridge Hall, the 781-seat concert room at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre, book our Cadillac XT6 for up to three of you. You skip the search for parking downtown, and after the encore, we set off the moment you step outside.
  • When you visit a student at Brock University, we can seat all five of you in our Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid. Your student can join the family for dinner downtown and be back at residence before the night is over.
  • For a ceremony at a vineyard, our chauffeur collects up to 13 members of the wedding party at the hotel in our Mercedes Sprinter Van. You all arrive at the same moment, so the photographer can start on time, and each of you has a spot for an overnight case.

Have a different occasion in mind? Describe it, and we can recommend a vehicle of the right size.
